Filtering News and Custom News Searching

On an open news window, click the MORE button on the title bar of the news window to pull up the Custom News Filter. 

 

 

 

From here you can choose your search criteria for all news within the window. You can also save a specified search filter for later use.

You can select specific news services, categories,topic,Industry, region or keywords, and a symbol/s pertaining to the news article/s you seek in the Search Criteria section.  You may also specify the number of headlines you wish to see as well as filter out the headlines according to a specific date range.  Click Search once you have your criteria entered for the requested news articles.

Note: If you wish to save your search criteria for future use, enter a name in Search Name and select Save before clicking Search/Cancel at the bottom of the Custom News Filter Window.  You will then notice your custom search name will be located in the Filters drop down box on the title bar of the news window as an option to select.
